Company History

Knoxville Computer Corporation is a service organization established in Knoxville, Tennessee, to provide high quality call center duties such as customer service complaints, on-line order entry, third-party verification, data entry, data conversion, list management and data processing service.

KCC originated in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1961 under the name of Commercial Data Processing Center, Inc. with a few clients and two employees. Over the years, the number of employees rose to more than one hundred and fifty and the number of clients to more than one hundred. In 1968, Commercial Data Processing Center Inc. merged with a new company, Knoxville Computer Center, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Stanwood Corporation, Charlotte, North Carolina.

In February 1985, Knoxville Computer Corporation was formed and acquired rights to software and clients from Knoxville Computer Center, Inc. In September of 2001, KCC moved from Maryville Pike in Knoxville, TN. to Seymour, TN. KCC now operates from facilities at 259 Business Park Lane in Seymour, TN.
