Security

Safeguarding sensitive information has long been of major concern in business. KCC is constantly investigating new areas that we believe can assist in safeguarding our facility and its contents. Computer technology has advanced to a reasonably secure level even with multiple users on one central processor. Technology alone, however, cannot insure security; therefore, KCC provides the following additional security features:

 

• Fire resistant storage areas
• Limited access to sensitive areas
• Employee identification by picture ID badge
• Password protection for computer log on
• Personal involvement with staff to eliminate personnel turnover
• Security clearance for selected employees
• Attention to “Need to Know” practices
• Scheduled backup and off-site storage of data and programs
• Retention of client data files for 14-365 days as needed by client
